Metal Detecting Old Copper Coins - Crossing the 1700 Time Barrier

When she finally presented a coin, I was happy to realize that she had just reached a new level!

She Metal Detected an Older Copper

She had finally broken the mystical spell, crossed the 1700 time barrier, and managed to recover a coin from the most "hammered" spot!

"Hurray, hurray, it's a holy Holiday!" To celebrate Irina's achievement, we took a tea break. During the break, I noticed that she had gained more confidence and determination to find another "keeper" at the challenging spot. Surprisingly she did not take advantage of my offer to explore the hot pocket I had just discovered. "To each its own", she said, and, no time wasted (there was no "rolling in grass" because the grass had not grown yet), we returned to metal detecting.

I switched my mind back to the Daydream-About-Silver mode and continued digging up copper coins.

My halvöring was one year younger than Irina's.

I was sure that silver coins were also in the ground, but, at the tavern sites like this one, it is usually impossible to figure out the ratio "# of Dug Copper Coins : 1 Dug Silver Coin", so I just kept daydreaming and digging up all targets above iron range. Although most of them were the WW2 brass casings and copper splinters, the halvörings managed to "force their way out" in between, so to speak.
