Well, the "Gods of Metal Detecting" probably prefer more than three as I checked the hole again and, here we go, got another coin signal. The fourth coin came out. It was getting interesting!
I thanked the Gods and checked the hole again. Wow! There was one more signal there! A fifth coin popped out.
Finally, the hole was empty of coin signals. It seemed that I had just dug up a micro cache - a stack of five coins! I was thinking about pouring some vodka into the hole to show my gratefulness when I received another high-tone signal, not further than a foot away from the hole. It sure was a coin!
Then I dug up a piece of iron pot. My adrenaline level slightly rose.
