Metal Detecting at the Cultural Settlement Bezradichi Site (Story 1)
In less than an hour, we arrived to the village Bezradichi. We had to locate the cultural settlement, and I thought it would be a difficult task as I had never looked for such places and had no experience with them. Locating the site turned out to be a piece of cake - one could not miss the highly elevated plateau with steep slopes - that was where the settlement used to be!
The Plateau Was Behind the Houses
The magnitude of the entire site was impressive. Then I remembered seeing something alike in a history book on the Kievan Rus' Kingdom...

Later on, I visited the museum in Kiev and saw exactly how the early Russian settlement (Gorodische) looked like...
