OBVERSE: an image of the crowned and bearded horseman holding a spear with both hands, the mint engraver's mark "ПС" under the horse going on foot.

REVERSE: the 5-line legend engraved in old Cyrillic letters reads: "ЦРЬИВЕ / ЛИKHIКНS / ЬВАСIЛEHIВ / АНОВИЧЬВ / СЕЯРУСI" ("Czar and Great Duke Vasiliy Ivanovich of Entire Rus").
