Finally a nice iron relic surfaced and something else along with it...
19th Century Stirrup
As it happens often, the nonmetallic relics are dug up along with the metallic objects during their recovery. This time it was an unbroken bottle made of olive color glass - a nice item for any vintage bottle collector! (and yes, the wild student party comes to mind again :).
