As I stayed where I was recovering the 19th century relics and coins, Misha moved to a different spot in the field. Both of us started metal detecting in a gridding pattern by walking along the parallel lines forth and back. Because the iron junk was absent, we lowered the discrimination to a minimum and were digging up every signal. I kept finding more relics and coins of the 19th century. Now I was wondering if anything older could be recovered at this spot.
Brass Case of Pocket Watch
The stamped floral design on the back suggested that the watch could be manufactured even in the early 20th century.
