In the 1960s, a huge sand pit was dug up at the spot where the Kirk used to stand, and by now the area had been overgrown with forest. We were only hoping that the surrounding fields would yield something.

And the field we chose began giving out coins indeed! I was surprised when I received a solid coin-signal right after I turned my Minelab Explorer II on and began detecting. Then I dug up the first coin.
Even though it was a modern coin, it was nice to find it in the middle of nowhere.
Estonian 1935 20 Senti Coin
10 minutes later I got the second coin-signal and recovered another modern coin, though it was not Estonian.
