When the morning came, we still had a lot of work to do. Next phase of our project included widening the prospecting pit and scanning its walls for any loose coins.

There were still a few coin signals in the walls. After receiving a signal, Misha was cutting a few inches of dirt off the wall and shoveling the dirt out to me.

In three hours, we had finally depleted the spot of all silver hammered coins by completing the recovery phase of the cache hunting process - digging a few more prospecting pits all around the first one. I could not believe that we finally were closing our 24-hour "metal detecting shift."
