Cache Hunting - Discovering A Hoard of Silver Hammered Coins (Story 14)

Identified by the inscription on its reverse, my sixth coin find was a rarity - "Sword" Kopeck minted at the Moscow mint for a short period of time.

1535 1 Sword Kopeck, Czar Ivan IV, Moscow Mint

So far, all the hammered coins I had found were no deeper than one to two inches underground or were lying on the surface like the seventh coin I found.

Silver

The coins just kept coming up. Now I knew for sure that I was dealing with the "coin-spread," and, therefore, the hoard was somewhere under my feet - a sweet thought indeed!
