I cannot get it silent!

I just bought Gemini 3 and tried it outside in the metal free ground. I have been trying to get it silent at the null meter reading for four days since then. But I can not push the knob and get this at zero point, and it always makes loud voice. I have done everything written in the manual book. Could it be malfunction or problem from the manufacturer? I am very disappointed.

Can't Wait to Start a New Season!

I just got my two box detector that I wanted. I tryed it out a few times. I even know about some gold veins, but they go right under the road - ha ha , thats my luck! But I now know my two box works great. I can't wait for spring! Thanks from Nova Scotia, Canada!
