A Machine to Listen to

First impression no depth, after playing with it. Second impression, good depth but you have to run machine the highest sensitivity, zero discrimination on meter and audio setting, and listen. It has a language of its own. And remember to keep pressing reset button. I think if you just use this machine, and stick with it, work slowly, it will be a keeper for life. In a trashy area you will do well, anywhere you will do well. Not a machine for beginners.

Thorough Approach

This detector needs a different approach to a normal motion detector. If you want results, you need to work with one of the detector’s strong points which is its ability to be swung at a very slow pace. Try to search a smaller area more thoroughly and you will pick up targets that detectorists with motion machines will have missed, especially targets in close proximity to iron targets. This machine needs to be learned properly if you want great results, but you will be rewarded if you spend some time and effort getting to know the machine. The two most important things with this machine are do not try to overpower it on the sensitivity and make sure you slow down your swing in comparison to a motion machine. This is a great detector, excellent build quality and reliability, and very effective once you have put in some time with it. Negative reviews are usually the result of a user not understanding the machine properly.

CS 1220 XD is Great for Coin Shooting

I bought this detector a week ago from today.
Detecting old coins is my hobby, and this detector has turned out to be much better for coin shooting than the one I have used before. This detector is very accurate to the point, gives clear sounds, and have multiple functions. I am very happy with cs 1220 xd.
