Very Sensitive

GhostRider in UK - best

The machines I have used are the Garrett Ace 150 and Minelab X-terra 30. These machines are very light which was what I liked about them, but something wasn't quite right. Whether it was me I don't know, but I just could not fathom out the signals with the multi-tone machines. So I purchased the C-Scope C3MX. Comparing this detector to the fore-mentioned machines, it is heavy, I'm still getting used to the weight of it, but it comes with a belt mount so it's not really a problem just a niggle really. The machine? Well, it is very sensitive and I mean it. I've only had it for about 3 weeks so I'm still getting used to it but I got it just about sussed, iron - it spits, hot rocks - you get a warble sound, I set my disc to 2 or 3, no more, and the senstivity to just under the threshold or maybe just audable, and away you go! It's that easy! No hammered coin has been found yet, but this machine, once learned, WILL produce the goods, no two ways about it.

3MX A Great Turn-On-and-Go Metal Detector!

Scopeadope in England - best

You MUST take this machine seriously!! It does a great job for the price. This would make an ideal backup machine for even the most dedicated detectorist. I love it and highly recommend it. Made in Britain for British conditions... Don't believe the hype, you will find just as much with the 3MX as you would with the expensive detectors. Confidence in your machine is the key, and this machine will give you that.

Garthy in Norwich,Norfolk,England - best

The C Scope CS3mx runs at 17khz. The Goldmaxx power runs at 18khz. The Goldmaxx cost £535 on ebay and the C-Scope CS3mx costs £208 on ebay. Save youself £327 - the C-Scope CS3mx has nearly got the power of a Goldmaxx. If you work full time and only get maybe 1 day a week to go metal detecting, buy the C-Scope 3mx. It's (THE) up and go machine and it's really easy to use, and it picks up the deep targets. GREAT DETECTOR, GETS THE JOB DONE!

Great Little Machine

Graham Long in Walthamstow, London, UK - best

I've always used top spec detectors, but the CS3MX, except for the gold maxx power, has an extremely fast response. It has good detecting depth, and it feels light, it's a joy to use. With this machine I've found as much if not more than with my XLT. CS3MX loves old silver hammered coins and its discrimination is as good as the Red heat! It finds stuff!
