This images depict every step in preparing "Split Fish" dish, a typical Baikalian raw fish delicacy. It's very easy to prepare a yummy fish titbit. Here is a recipe:
Step 1: a freshly caught fish (Omul) gets frozen.
Step 2: it's wrapped into the cloth.
Step 3: one hits it with a hammer or axe-head until the fish is broken in many pieces.
Then the delicacy served with a mix of salt and pepper, and chased with ice cold Vodka. The whole dinner includes smoked fish, boiled potatoes, dark bread, spring onions, and various herbs. I can even explain how delicious it is!
